The Second Inventors’ Olympiad – Genius 2000 International Fair of Inventions was organized in celebration of the millennium of the Hungarian state. The event gathered inventors from 32 countries and showcased 439 inventions, making it one of the most significant international innovation events held in Hungary. The exhibition was held under the patronage of prominent national and international figures, including Dr. János Latorcai, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Dr. György Matolcsy, Minister of Economy, Dr. Farag Moussa, President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations, and Dr. Miklós Bendzsel, President of the Hungarian Patent Office. During the event, György Egely received the Genius Award for the Vitality Meter evaluation system. The international jury recognized the invention for its originality and innovative approach, honoring outstanding achievements in inventive work.
